So, on Sunday, I decided never to wash my shirt or myself ever again. Pete, please hug me every Sunday. It makes my life complete.
Uhh.. yeah. So then yesterday, Carly came over, and drove my go-kart. There was this guy going down my street in a sniper van, so we chased him at high speeds and stalked him. Then, we went inside to get an item that looked like a gun, and proceeded to chase people and point the item at them. I got Carly back, however, by making her go into the bushes and get dead plants all over herself. She definitely deserved it for being 007.
Tonight, I had bassoon lessons. Mr. Winslow is really impressed with my playing, and my dad said my tone is just about as good as his. He also gave me some duets, which I'm playing the top part on.. and was like "I really like playing duets, especially when I can play second.", which made me feel sort of cool. I feel like I've come a long way just during this summer with bassoon.
I'm really excited for intense partying coming up this weekend.
Should I do varsity tennis or varsity swimming?

This week has been a lot of fun so far. On Monday I went to the city, and on Tuesday I basically just hung out and then went to Monroe for a while.
Then, yesterday, I went to my favorite place.. the beach. It was amazing, except for the fact that the waves sucked for surfing, since the ocean was really calm and the small waves that there were, were breaking way too close to shore. Then after the beach we went to this cool little old-fashioned diner thing, Stewart's, and then to my aunt's house.. and then we got home around 10. We were at the beach from like 10-6, and it was a lot of fun. Even though I sort of have a tan line on my wrist now from the Zoom Flume wristband from when I went with Carly last week.. but since I kept moving the wristband, it's not noticable.
So tonight I'm going to Carly's house, and then we're leaving tomorrow morning to go to Mountain Creek for the day. :D!! I was supposed to play soccer with the boys tonight, but I can't, since I'm going to Carly's. :[! Oh well, I'll hang out with them next week.
I can't decide between doing tennis, karate, or swimming. Actually, I can do tennis AND karate or swimming, but I can't decide which one! :[

I fucking hate you, more than anything. You have no sense of morals, no sense of what's right and wrong, and you lack any good qualities at all. I just want you out of my life forever, and I didn't even know it was possible to hate someone this much.
You, on the other hand.. you may have your moments where you're a jerk occasionally (even though we all do), but I know you'll always be there for me, and that you're always going to try to help and protect me no matter what. Thank you, my dear. ;] ♥

I get to do mad cardio, be part of a martial arts class, and be a hottie in my hot uniform.. all with one of my best friends.

Palisades Mall + Candice = funtimes. :D
I really enjoy finding new amazing workout plans, especially some geared towards surfing. It makes my life more interesting.. and I've found that not eating junk food/foods high in cholesterol or fats isn't a big deal. I actually like eating healthy more, and it's a lot better for me, since I have high cholesterol (aka why I'm not eating things that are bad for me.) It's better to start good habits now, instead of later.
Since I watch the amount of medical shows I do, and since I always talk to people at the hospital, I've realized something sort of scary about my future career, partially thanks to Patrick.
I won't lie, my favorite kind of shows are medical shows. In one I was watching the other day, a French surgeon was in the United States, and his patients were obviously in France. One of them needed an important operation.. so the surgeon performed the operation from the United States. He used a sort of robotic machine with a video and audio feed to do it, and the patient lived after her successful operation.
I know that, without a doubt, I want to be a surgeon. But I don't want to operate machines.. I want to actually save people's lives through surgery. I'm prepared to do anything the job requires, even if it is to operate advanced technology.. but I'd prefer that I didn't need to, and that surgery could stay the way it is now, where you actually have to open people up to fix problems. I don't really like the idea of bloodless surgeries using such advanced technology. I know I can't stop technology from advancing, but I don't know.. I guess I don't really want it to.
I can't decide on the type of surgery I'd like to specialize in, but I guess it's probably going to be neurosurgery (I've been told I'd make a good neurosurgeon), orthopedic surgery, cardiac surgery, or emergency medicine. I've been told a lot that I'd make a good surgeon, and the fact that it's a hard field.. it makes me know that I can do it, and want to become a surgeon even more.
Patrick and I had a long conversation about this on Sunday. He's my favorite. ;] When I told him I wanted to be a surgeon..
"Seriously? Wow.. you'd make an amazing surgeon, I think.. even though you'll be in school forever. I'm sure you know that technology is advancing so much that soon surgeries will be completely bloodless after a while.. but still, I think you'd be good at it. I'd recommend going into orthopedic surgery, or neurosurgery.. or even plastic surgery.. and they make the most money, really. Even then, it's sort of about opportunity. You have to make sure you do your residency in a good hospital. If you do it in a shit hospital (-motions around-), you won't really get anywhere. I really do think you'd be a good surgeon, though."
I love talking to him, hahah. And.. Alex is a cute boy. ;].

I can honestly say that I only hate one person in this entire world, who absolutely deserves it. So why can they not seem to go away, no matter what anyone says, and what sort of subtle or obvious hints that they get? I don't want anything bad to happen to them, but I wish they'd just go away and get out of my life, and the lives of everyone around me.
I sort of feel like chopping my toe off, because it has really bad poison ivy. It's the only part of me that actually has poison ivy really, and it's all thanks to Snaily aka Carly. Whatever.

We need to discuss possible dates for Beaver Dam Bike Tour '06, and maybe Stewart Buffer Zone Bike Tour '06.. before it's too late. I really love music, and playing the bassoon/the instrument itself.
Today my private lesson teacher, Mr. Winslow, said that I "have a beautiful tone" and that he's "jealous of my amazing tone, it's basically perfect."
:D!!
And I hate when Limewire doesn't work, cause it locks up my router and makes me have to go unplug things.

Tara's surprise birthday party was so much fun. I never completely realized how much I've missed my friends this summer though, since I don't see them every day anymore.
Things I learned today:;
♥ Cait and I are never playing tetherball again, even though I am champion.
♥ Carly's secretly a monkey, and we communicate using primitive noises.
♥ Fernando is not a very good lifeguard.
♥ Matt is sort of lame when he "yells" at you. (:D)
♥ Volleyball and soccer can turn violent.. easily.
♥ Do not float over people when they are drowning in the abyss.
♥ Really bright colored cups make the world a better place, as do spinning teacups.
♥ I absolutely love my mad cool friends. :D!!
I want to have a party, but I'm running out of time. :[ I'll have to figure out if and when I can actually have it, because everyone thinks it's ohsocool to have parties now. Like loserfaces named Ashley and Kelly? Mhmmm. :D
Ughh, apparently I'm probably going to need an MRI for my back. We'll see..

I'm finally done painting my room. It took forever, and I thought I was going to die from the paint fumes, but I'm finally done.. and it looks great. :] I'll post pictures when I clean everything and put everything back where it belongs.
Also, I built a computer, reformatted my computer, and made a lot of other adjustments to it. Be proud of me; this sort of thing is not easy. :p
I love how, for the next few days, all I'm going to be doing is partying. Seriously.. tomorrow I babysit, go to a super secret birthday party, and then I have bassoon lessons. Then on Friday is Murphy's birthday party and then I'm possibly going out all night with the girls? On Saturday, I'm going to Sam and Jean's party, and then maybe doing something with Kim.. and on Sunday I go to Arden Hill like always.
And then next week is tennis with Palange. See, Mike? I don't forget about you.. and it's sooner than 20 years. ;D Also, probably a campout/party somewhere with my best. Hollerrrr!
I'm honestly so excited for the week of the 6th.. it's my dad's vacation week, so we're going to Six Flags, Zoom Flume, the beach a million and one times, the Bronx Zoo, and doing other stuff that we haven't decided yet. (Maybe going to see Rent or Avenue Q?) I'm most excited for the ocean though, because I'm going surfing :D And the beach is my favorite place, ever. :D

Sometimes I update too much, and sometimes I don't update enough. C'est la vie.
I'm so excited for this coming year, really. The fact that I'm a junior is just kind of weird, because then next year a lot of people who I'm really close to will be graduating.. but this year I'm really challenging myself, and I just think it's going to be an overall amazing year.
I've also decided I don't really care for the format in which I write my entries sometimes.
And take this advice, live by every word - love's completely real, so forget anything that you've heard and live for the moment now.
..will you ever understand? Although it seems that you're starting to.. we'll see what happens :)

I usually babysit these two really cute girls who are 4 (Emily and Elizabeth), and their brother who is 6. Today I had to be there from 8:30am - 6:30pm (which really wasn't that bad), but they say some of the most random things.
Emily: Jess, do you have a boyfriend?
me: ehh no, not really
Emily: why not?!
me: I don't know, should I have a boyfriend?
Emily and Elizabeth: yes!
me: why?
Elizabeth: cause you're preeeetty!
Emily: cause you're really cool!
They're so cuteee.
I wanted to go play soccer tonight. :[ And I'm pretty pumped for the picnic tomorrow.

I had to work today, and I'm a lifeguard at Harriman Woods apartment complex. I love my job.. sometimes.
So when I got there today, there was originally no one there. Then two women came, who were obviously best friends, and they were drinking and stuff, and then they were like "do you want a drink?" I probably gave them the dirtiest look ever, and was like "NO!". So no matter how many times I asked them to leave, they basically just ignored me, and told me stories about what they did with boys when they were teenagers. After a while, a lot more people showed up, and eventually these two women were completely drunk. They could barely talk or stand up, so of course they did what any logical person would do - WENT SWIMMING!
So then I had to jump in at least 5 times to either save them or help them or whatnot, and they wouldn't listen to me when I asked them to leave. Several of the adults also tried to help when I asked them, because I thought that maybe they would have more influence, since they're older. Apparently the women were too drunk to care. They were also taking some sort of illegal pills, which I knew were illegal by the way they handled them.
When they finally left, some guy was like "You had an interesting day, eh? Babysitting a pair of drunken lesbians."
The women left to go get food, and were discussing driving to a nearby restaurant. I actually stood in front of them and said "No, in your present condition neither of you are driving at all, under any circumstances." I refused to move out of the way until they told me that they would go to one of their apartments instead, since one of them lived in the apartment complex. I also stood near their car, since it was right next to the pool, until they got close to the apartment to make sure that they wouldn't try to drive.
I guess I handled that pretty well, although I should have probably called the police since they wouldn't listen to anyone at the pool, especially me, since I was in charge of the pool area. I really couldn't though, because they caused no REAL problem that the police would be needed for, and I also had to watch the pool. I'm kinda proud of myself for the way I dealt with things today though, especially when they suggested driving. :D!
